Born and raised in Queens, New York City, PAOLA writes songs that are intimate and honest, like words hidden in a journal that reveal what we might otherwise keep tucked away. Her sound blends indie pop and folk, woven with rich harmonies and layered instrumentation that build like a movie score. Both melancholic and hopeful, her music carries a bittersweet emotional core. Her songs move like film scenes, reflecting her artistry as a singer, conceptual artist, and creative director shaping every detail of her work.

PAOLA’s musical journey began humbly, writing songs on her ukulele in the bathroom of a cramped New York apartment. Those quiet moments became the foundation for a path that led far beyond those walls, to performances on stages like Carnegie Hall and the Verbier Festival in Switzerland. Later, she brought her sound to intimate sets across the city as a Sofar Sounds artist, known for transforming small rooms into powerful, shared moments.

Now, with her debut single “Blue Pill” releasing on November 14, PAOLA steps fully into her vision. She writes, performs, and directs every element of her sound and visuals. Her purpose is to connect listeners by capturing the human experience and inviting them to step into someone else’s story — or feel seen in their own.
